Chip’s Ahoy Charters can provide you with a full day, half day or three quarter day trip. In addition, we offer
evening inshore trips targeting tarpon and snook, multi-day excursions to the Bahamas, and either day or
night time swordfishing adventures.
The Chip’s Ahoy is setup to fish with a maximum of 6 anglers, although a trip for two to three anglers will
provide you with a little more comfort and a lot more hands on action!
Captain Chip provides everything you will need for a day of fishing including tackle, licenses, ice and a
cooler for you to use. You and your guests should bring your own food and drink. We also recommend that
you bring sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen.

“Live Bait” Daytime Trips on the "Edge"
Chip’s Ahoy specializes in offshore live baiting & kite
fishing. This very exciting and extremely productive
fishing technique utilizes frisky live baits (Goggle
Eyes, Pilchards, Herring, Sardines, Blue Runners) that
are drifted off of one side of the boat, while a kite or
two is flown off the other side of the boat. Attached to
the kite, through clips, are more live baits attached to
your fishing line. This allows for a 360 degree fishing
arsenal. This kind of fishing is very effective for
sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, blackfin tuna, wahoo, cobia,
as well as many other types of offshore species that
lurk on the “Edge”.

drifted at night approximately 12 -18 miles offshore in
the Gulf stream. You never know what creature of the
sea may pop up. It's not uncommon to catch large Mako
Sharks that typically feed on Swordfish.
